The fifth international scientific-practical conference
"The Roerich's heritage"

From October, 6 till October, 9 roerichite Saint Petersburg plan the next conference on two central themes:

1. N.K.Roerich and M.K.Chiurlionis.
2. The Heritage of family of Roerichs: problems of preservation and actualization.

At the conference want to discuss the following additional questions:

3. The analysis of ethics of Russian Cosmismus and synthesis in culture of the Siver Age of Russian.
4. Discussion of historical and cultural problems in Russian Cosmismus.
5. Consideration of interaction of the Museum and the Temple in culture of the Siver Age of Russian and modern world.

At conference will be submitted exhibitions of works by N.K.Roerich and M.K.Chiurlionis. A bus excursion will take place across Saint Petersburg. At conference there will be a ceremony of rewarding of the international premium names Nikolay Roerich 2005. At conference is expected the arrival of the president of the International Committee of the Banner of Peace Alicia Rodriguez. During the her summer visit in Saint Petersburg A.Rodriges has promised to arrive on this conference and to give the report in Spanish under the name "LA NUEVA CULTURA DE PAZ EL FLORECER DE LA BANDERA DE LA PAZ Y EL PACTO ROERICH EN MEXICO" (New Culture in view of the Banner of Peace and Roerich's Pact in Mexico).

  • Museum - institute of family of Roerich's in Saint Petersburg,
  • The state museum - monument "Issakiewskiy Sobor",
  • Philosophical faculty of the St.-Petersburg state university;
  • The Roerich's center of the St.-Petersburg state university;
  • The St.-Petersburg Philosophical society;
  • The international welfare fund "Roerich's heritage";
  • The St.-Petersburg public cultural and educational fund names M.K.Chiurlionis.
